এক ডলার সাতাশি সেন্ট। এটুকুই সব। এর মধ্যে ষাট সেন্ট আছে পেনিতে। একেক সময়ে একটি দুইটি করে পেনি বাঁচানো হয়েছে মুদি দোকানী, সবজী বিক্রেতা আর কশাইয়ের সাথে তীব্র দর কশাকশি করে, এমন করেই পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ লেনদেন চলেছে সব সময়, যতক্ষন পর্যন্ত না মনে মনে কৃপণ ঠাওরে তাদের মুখ আরক্তিম হয়ে উঠেছে। ডেলা তিনবার গুনে দেখেছে। এক ডলার সাতাশি সেন্ট। অথচ পরের দিন ক্রিসমাস।

মলিন ছোট আরাম কেদারাটার উপর এগুলো ছুড়ে ফেলে চিৎকার করে কান্না কাটি করা ছাড়া আর কোনো উপায় নেই। ডেলা তাই করল। এটা মানুষের নৈতিক অভিব্যক্তিকে এমনভাবে প্ররোচিত করে যেন, জীবনটা ফুঁপিয়ে কাঁদা, দীর্ঘ শ্বাস আর মৃদু হাসির সম্মিলনে গড়া, যেখানে দীর্ঘ শ্বাসটাই বেশি প্রবল।

বাড়ীর গৃহকর্ত্রী যখন খরচ ক্রমশ প্রথম থেকে দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ে নামিয়ে আনেন, প্রথমেই তার নজর পড়ে বাড়ির দিকে। একটি সুসজ্জিত ফ্ল্যাটের জন্য প্রতি সপ্তাহে আট ডলার গুনতে হয়। যারা দিন আনে দিন খায় ঠিক তাদের জন্য নয়, কিন্তু ভিক্ষুকের দলের জন্য নিশ্চিতভাবেই অন্য কোনো উপায় খুঁজে দেখতে হবে।

প্রবেশ কক্ষের নীচে যে চিঠির বাক্সটি আছে সেখানে কখনো কোনো চিঠি আসে না, বৈদুতিক বোতামটি কোনো পার্থিব আঙুল টিপে কখনো ঘন্টা বাঁজায় না। এর নীচে অধিকার নিয়ে একটি নাম ফলক শোভা পাচ্ছে, যাতে লেখা “মি. জেমস ডিলিংহাম ইয়াং”।

আগেকার সমৃদ্ধ সময়ে “ডিলিংহাম” নামের এই বাড়িটি প্রমোদ উল্লাসের মৃদুমন্দ বাতাসে ভেসে বেড়িয়েছে, যখন এর মালিক সপ্তাহে ত্রিশ ডলার পেত। এখন, যখন আয় কমে কুড়ি ডলারে এসে দাঁড়িয়েছে, “ডিলিংহাম” এর অক্ষরগুলোও ঝাপসা দেখাচ্ছে, যেন তারাও ঐকান্তিকভাবেই প্রত্যাশা করছে সংকুচিত হয়ে যেয়ে নিরহঙ্কারী ও বিনয়ী “ডি” হতে। কিন্তু যখনই মি. জেমস ডিলিংহাম ইয়াং বাড়িতে ফেরেন এবং তাঁর এই ফ্ল্যাটে আসেন, তাঁকে ডাকা হয় “জিম” এবং নিবিড় আলিঙ্গনে আবদ্ধ হন মিসেস জেমস ডিলিংহাম ইয়াংয়ের, যিনি ইতোপূর্বেই আপনাদের কাছে পরিচিত হয়েছেন “ডেলা” নামে। যেখানে সবকিছুই খুব ভালোভাবে চলছে।

ডেলা তাঁর কান্না শেষ হলে, পাউডারের ন্যাকড়াটা দিয়ে গাল মুছলো। জানালার পাশে এসে দাঁড়িয়ে নিরানন্দ নিয়ে ধূসর বাহিরবাড়ির ধূসর বেড়ার উপর দিয়ে ধূসর বিড়ালটিকে হেঁটে যেতে দেখল। আগামীকাল ক্রিসমাসের দিন, কিন্তু তাঁর কাছে আছে মাত্র এক ডলার সাতাশি সেন্ট, যা দিয়ে জিমের জন্য উপহার কিনতে হবে। সে প্রত্যেকটা পেনি বাঁচিয়ে মাসের পর মাস ধরে, এই টাকাটা জমিয়েছে। কুড়ি ডলারে সপ্তাহ বেশি দূর চলে না। সে যা হিসাব করে, খরচ তার চেয়ে বেশি হয়ে যায়। সব সময়ই এমন হয়। মাত্র এক ডলার সাতাশি সেন্ট আছে জিমের জন্য উপহার কেনার। তাঁর জিম। সে অনেক সুখী সময় কাটিয়েছে পরিকল্পনা করে করে, কিছু চমৎকার জিনিস নিয়ে জিমের জন্য। কিছু সুন্দর, দুর্লভ এবং খাঁটি...কিছু এমন একটা জিনিস, যা জিমের মর্যাদার সাথে খুব কাছাকাছি মানিয়ে নেয় এমন মূল্যবান।

কক্ষটির দুই জানালার মাঝে বৃহদাকার লম্বাটে একটি আয়না আছে। এই ধরণের বৃহদাকার লম্বাটে আয়না আপনি সম্ভবত আট ডলারের ফ্ল্যাটগুলোতে দেখতে পাবেন। খুব কৃশকায় এবং খুব চটপটে একজন নারী, দ্রুত একের পর এক তাঁর পরিধেয় বস্ত্রগুলো লম্বালম্বিভাবে খুলে নগ্ন হয়ে তাঁর প্রতিবিম্ব দেখেলে, তিনি দেখতে কেমন সম্পূর্ণভাবে তার একটা নিখুত ধারণা পেতে পারে। ডেলা কৃশকায় হওয়ায়, এই কৌশলটি প্রয়োগ করত।

হঠাৎকরেই সে জানালা থেকে সরে এসে আয়নার সামনে দাঁড়াল। উজ্জ্বলভাবে তাঁর চোখদুটি ঝিলিক দিচ্ছিল, কিন্তু কুড়ি সেকেন্ডের মধ্যেই তাঁর মুখের রঙ হারিয়ে গেল। দ্রুত সে তাঁর চুল টেনে নামিয়ে পূর্ন দৈর্ঘ্যে পড়তে দিল।

ডেলার সুন্দর চুলগুলো এখন তাঁর শরীরের উপরে পড়ে আছে, যেন জলপ্রপাতের পিঙ্গল জলের মত মৃদু হিল্লোল তুলে ঝিলিক দিচ্ছে। চুলগুলো তাঁর হাঁটুর নীচে নামে এবং পোষাক হয়ে প্রায়ই যেন তাঁর শরীরকে ঢেকে দেয়। সে বিচলিত হয়ে দ্রুত আবার তাঁর শরীরকে চুলগুলো দিয়ে ঢাকলো। হঠাৎ সে এক মিনিটের মত কেঁপে উঠে ঠায় দাঁড়িয়ে রইলো, এক দুই ফোটা চোখের জল গড়িয়ে পড়ল জীর্ণ লাল কার্পেটটিতে।

পুরনো পিঙ্গল জ্যাকেটটি পড়ে, পুরনো পিঙ্গল হ্যাটটি মাথায় দিয়ে সে বের হল। দ্রুত আবর্তিত হয়ে আসা স্কার্ট পড়ে এবং এখনো দীপ্তিময় উজ্জ্বল চোখদুটি নিয়ে, এলোমেলো অবস্থায় সে দড়জার বাইরে এলো এবং সিঁড়ি বেয়ে রাস্তায় নামল।

একটা সাইনবোর্ডের সামনে এসে সে থামলো, “মিসেস সফরোনী। সকল ধরণের কেশ সামগ্রী”। একরকম উড়ে দৌড়ে চলে সে হাঁপিয়ে উঠলো। মাদাম, দীর্ঘ, খুব শাদা, আকর্ষণীয়া, কদাচিৎ দেখা মিলে “সফরোনী”।

“আপনি কি আমার চুল কিনবেন?”, ডেলা জিজ্ঞেস করে।
“আমি চুল কিনি”, মাদাম বলল। “আপনার হ্যাটটি খুলে আমাকে একবার দেখতে দিন এটি দেখতে কেমন?”
পিঙ্গল জলপ্রপাত মৃদু হিল্লোল তুলে নীচে নেমে এল।
“কুড়ি ডলার”, মাদাম বলল, নিপুন হাতে একগোছা চুল উপরে তুলে ধরল।

আহা, নষ্ট পাথুরে সময়কে ভুলে গিয়ে, এর পরের দুই ঘন্টা ধরে সে যেন গোলাপী ডানায় ভর করে নেচে বেড়ালো। দোকানগুলোতে তন্ন তন্ন করে জিমের জন্য উপহার খুঁজে বেড়ালো।

অবশেষে সে উপহারটি খুঁজে পেল। এটি নিশ্চিত জিমের জন্যই বানানো হয়েছে, অন্য কারো জন্য নয়। অন্য দোকানগুলোতে এর মত আর একটিও নেই, সে তাদের সবগুলোই উল্টে পাল্টে দেখেছে। এটি ছিল প্ল্যাটিনামের ঘড়ির চেইন, নকশায় সহজ ও সরল, কেবল বস্তুমান বিচারেই যথার্থভাবে এর তাৎপর্য প্রকাশ করছিল, বাহ্যিক চাকচিক্যময় অলঙ্করণে নয়...যেমনটা সকল উৎকৃষ্ট পণ্যের হওয়া উচিত। এটি এমনকি ঘড়িটার জন্যও প্রয়োজনীয় ছিল। সে এটি দেখতে না দেখতেই মনে করল, এটি অবশ্যই জিমের জন্য। এটা তাঁর মতো। বর্ণাধিক্যহীন এবং মূল্যবান...দুটি বিশেষণই এর জন্য প্রযোজ্য। তাঁর কাছে থেকে তারা এটির জন্য একুশ ডলার নিল এবং সাতাশি সেন্ট নিয়ে সে তাড়াতাড়ি করে বাড়িতে ফিরল। কেউ সঙ্গে থাকলে, ঘড়ির সেই পুরোনো চেইনের কারনে জিম অবশ্য পুরোপুরি চিন্তিত থাকত সময় দেখার ব্যপারে। ঘড়িটার মতই দেখতে মস্ত বড়, চেইনের পরিবর্তে পুরোনো চামড়ার ফিতা ব্যবহার করায়, জিম মাঝে মাঝে ঘড়িটা গোপনে দেখত।

ডেলা বাড়িতে ফিরলে, তাঁর উন্মত্ততা কিছুটা পরিণামদর্শিতা ও কারণ বিশ্লেষণের অবসর পেল। সে তাঁর ইস্পাতের চুল ছাটাইয়ের কাচি বের করে গ্যাসের বাতি জ্বালালো, এর পর, তাঁর ভালোবাসায় অসীম মহত্ব যোগ করতে যেয়ে যে ধ্বংসস্তুপ সৃষ্টি হয়েছিল, সেটা মেরামতের কাজ চালিয়ে গেল। প্রিয় বন্ধুরা, এটা সব সময়ই একটা সুমহৎ কাজ....একটি মস্ত বড় কাজ।

“যদি জিম আমাকে হত্যা না করে”, সে নিজেকেই বলল, “আমার দিকে তাঁকানোর আগে সে এক সেকেন্ড সময় নেবে, এর পর বলবে, তোমাকে কনি দ্বীপের গীতিনাট্যের বালিকাদলের বালিকার মত লাগছে। কিন্তু কি করতে পারতাম আমি...আহা! এক ডলার সাতাশি সেন্ট নিয়ে কি করতে পারতাম আমি?”

জিম দড়জার দিকে কয়েক পা পিছিয়ে গেলেন, নিশ্চল হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে রইলেন, যেভাবে একটি দীর্ঘ লোমওয়ালা সেটের জাতের কুকুর তিতিরের গন্ধ পেলে নিশ্চল হয়ে যায়। তাঁর চোখ দুটি ডেলার উপরে স্থির হয়ে আছে, সেখানে এমন একটি অভিব্যক্তি যা ডেলা পড়তে পারছে না, এতে সে ভীত হয়ে পড়ছে। এটা রাগ নয়, নয় বিস্ময়, নয় অননুমোদন, নয় আতঙ্ক, নয় এমন ধরণের অনুভূতির অভিব্যক্তি যার জন্য ডেলা প্রস্তুত ছিল। মুখে সেই বিচিত্র অভিব্যক্তি নিয়ে, সে সহজাতভাবে স্থির দৃষ্টি নিয়ে ডেলার দিকে তাঁকিয়ে আছে।

ডেলা কাঁচুমাঁচু করে টেবিল থেকে উঠে তাঁর দিকে এগিয়ে গেল।
“জিম, প্রিয়তম”, সে কেঁদে উঠল, “আমার দিকে এভাবে তাঁকিও না। আমি আমার চুল কাটিয়েছি এবং সেগুলো বিক্রি করে দিয়েছি কারন ক্রিসমাসের ভিতর তোমাকে কোনো উপহার না দিয়ে আমি থাকতে পারবো না। এগুলো আবার বড় হয়ে উঠবে...তুমি কিছু মনে কর না, করবে কি? এছাড়া আর কোনো উপায় ছিল না আমার। আমার চুল ভয়ানক দ্রুত বেড়ে উঠে। বল,’মেরি ক্রিসমাস!’ জিম, চল আমরা আনন্দ করি। তুমি জাননা কতটা চমৎকার – কতটা সুন্দর, চমৎকার উপহার তোমার জন্য আমি এনেছি”।

জিম তাঁর ওভারকোটের ভিতর থেকে একটি পার্সেল বের করে টেবিলের উপর ছুড়ে মারল। 

“কোনো ভুল করো না, ডেল”, সে বলল, “আমার ক্ষেত্রে, আমি মনে করি না কোনো হেয়ারকাট, শেভ বা শ্যাম্পু আমার বউয়ের প্রতি আমার ভালোবাসা একটুও কমাতে পারবে। কিন্তু যদি তুমি পার্সেলটি খুলে দেখো, তুমি বুঝতে পারবে কেন একটু আগে আমাকে অমন করতে দেখে ছিলে?”

এটি ছিল চিরুনি...চিরুনির সেট, পার্শ্বে ও পিছনে দাঁত, যার কামনায় ডেলা দীর্ঘ দিন ধরে দোকানের জানালায় চেয়ে থেকেছে। চমৎকার চিরুনি, কচ্ছপের খাঁটি খোলকের সাথে অলঙ্করিত বাঁট... সুন্দর সুশোভিত কেশের পরিধেয় ছায়া। সে জানত চিরুনিগুলো খুব দামী এবং কোনো আশা নেই জেনেও এগুলো পাবার জন্য তাঁর হৃদয়ে ছিল ব্যাকুল কামনা ও বাসনা। এখন এগুলো তাঁর আছে, কিন্তু যে দীর্ঘ কেশ সাঁজানোর জন্য এটি প্রয়োজন ছিল, সেই প্রবল কামনার ধন হারিয়ে গেছে।

কিন্তু সে এগুলোকে তাঁর বুকের মাঝে জড়িয়ে ধরল, অবশেষে সে ঝাপসা চোখে তাঁকাতে পারল এবং মৃদু হেসে বলল, “আমার চুল খুব দ্রুত বাড়ে, জিম!”

এর পর ডেলা ছ্যাঁকা খাওয়া ছোট বিড়ালের মত লাফিয়ে কেঁদে উঠল, “আহা, আহা!”

জিম তাঁর সুন্দর উপহারটি এখনো দেখে নি। ডেলা তাঁর হাতের খোলা তালুতে এটি রেখে জিমের সামনে মেলে ধরল। তাঁর উজ্জ্বল ও অতিশয় আকুল আত্নার প্রতিফলিত আলোর ছটায় মনে হচ্ছিল অনুজ্জ্বল মূল্যবান ধাতুটি চমকে উঠবে।

“এটা কি খুব চমৎকার নয়, জিম? এটি খুঁজে পেতে আমি সারা শহর চষে বেড়িয়েছি। এখন তোমাকে সময় দেখতে যেয়ে প্রতিদিন এটিকে একশ বার দেখতে হবে। তোমার ঘড়িটি আমাকে দাও। তোমার ঘড়িতে এটি কেমন দেখায় আমি দেখতে চাই”।

ডেলার অনুরোধ না রেখে, জিম হুড়মুড় করে গদিওয়ালা চেয়ারটায় বসে পড়ল এবং মাথার নিচে হাত দুটি রেখে মৃদু হাসল।

চলচ্চিত্র ও ইহুদীবাদ

চলচ্চিত্র এবং ইহুদীবাদের মধ্যে সম্পর্কের রহস্যটি কি? গত শতাব্দীর বহু গবেষক এবং বিশেষজ্ঞের কাছে এটি ছিল একটি বিশেষ জিজ্ঞাসা। কিন্তু সে জিজ্ঞাসার সন্তোষজনক কোন জবাব তারা নিরূপণ করতে সক্ষম হননি বলেই প্রতীয়মান হয়।
সুনিদিষ্ট জবাব নিরূপিত না হলেও এই শিল্পখাতের ওপর আন্তর্জাতিক ইহুদীবাদের অনস্বীকার্য প্রভাব নিয়ে কেউ দ্বিমত পোষণ করবেন না।
নানা কৌশলে এই শিল্পকলা ইহুদীচক্রের বহুবিধ উপকার ও স্বার্থ পূরণে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে। এই দাবী নিছক কোন সংস্কার প্রসূত ধারণা নয়, বরং দ্বিতীয় সহস্রাব্দের শেষভাগে বিশ্বব্যাপী সিনেমা শিল্পের বিপুল ব্যাপ্তি ও বিকাশ লাভের প্রেক্ষাপটে এই ধারায় সম্পাদিত বিস্তর গবেষণা ও অধ্যয়নের সূত্রেই সেটি স্পষ্ট।
আজ হলিউডে যে সকল ব্যক্তিত্ব সর্বাধিক খ্যাতি সম্পন্ন এবং প্রভাবশালী -তাদের অধিকাংশই ইহুদী। প্রকৃতপক্ষে কেবল ইহুদী হবার কারণেই তারা অন্যদের তুলনায় অধিকতর সুযোগ সুবিধা ও আনুকুল্য লাভে সক্ষম হয়েছেন, উঁচু মাত্রায় সফল ক্যারিয়ার বিনির্মাণ করতে পেয়েছেন। বস্তুতঃ ইহুদীবাদ হচ্ছে চিন্তা ও বিশ্বাসের জগতে একটি স্বতন্ত্র মতবাদ-যা কিনা মুসা (আঃ)কর্তৃক প্রচারিত ইহুদী ধর্ম থেকে ভিন্নতর। ইহুদীবাদ আর ইহুদীধর্ম -এই উভয়ের মধ্যকার পার্থক্য বিশেষ ভাবে প্রণিধানযোগ্য এবং দু'টোকে এক হিসাবে বিবেচনার অবকাশ নেই। কিন্তু ইহুদীবাদ তার উদ্ভবের সময় থেকেই ইহুদী ধর্মের মুখোশ পরিধান করে এগুতে চেষ্টা করেছে এবং এ কারণে তাদের গোপন সংঘ বা ক্লাবের প্রায় সকল সদস্য বাছাই করা হয়েছে ইহুদীদের মধ্য হতে। এ সকল ইহুদী ধর্মাবলম্বী যাদেরকে ইহুদীবাদী বলাই শ্রেয় তারা পাশ্চাত্যের সামাজিক, অর্থনৈতিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক ক্ষেত্রসমূহ অন্যদের চাইতে অগ্রসর অবস্থানে অধিষ্ঠিত ।
শিল্পকলা ও প্রযুক্তির অন্যতম প্রতিভু হলিউড এই প্রাসঙ্গিকতার বাইরে নয় এবং এই বাস্তবতাকে সে কখনও অস্বীকারের চেষ্টাও করেনি। হলিউডের জটিল প্রশাসনিক ব্যবস্থাপনা বেশ কিছু অলিখিত রীতি-নীতি অনুসরণ করে চলে। যেমন , সেখানকার উঁচু পর্যায়ে শিল্প , পেশাজীবী এবং সংবাদ মাধ্যম সংশ্লিষ্ট চাকরি সমূহে ইহুদীরাই নিয়োগ প্রাপ্তির জন্যে প্রথম পছন্দ। এটা হচ্ছে সর্বাবস্থায় ইহুদীদেরকে অগ্রাধিকার প্রদানের রীতি এবং সে সকল ইহুদীদের মধ্যে যাদের ইহুদীবাদী চেতনা বিদ্যমান তারা শীর্ষ পর্যায়ে উন্নীত হবাব ক্ষেত্রে অধিকতর আনুকূল্য পেয়ে থাকে । অন্যদিকে, কোন ইহুদী যদি ইহুদীবাদী নীতি ও কর্মকৌশলকে সমর্থন করতে ব্যর্থ হয় তাহলে ইহুদী ধর্মাবলম্বী হওয়া সত্তেও তিনি হলিউডের গৌরব হিসাবে কৃতিত্ব অর্জনের সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত হয়ে থাকেন ।
মাফিয়া-চক্রের কর্তৃত্বাধীন পরিচালিত হলিউডে সাধারণ কোন ইহুদী যিনি উগ্রইহুদীবাদী চেতনায় বিশ্বস্ত নন তার জন্য কোন সহানুভুতি নেই। এর প্রকৃষ্ট প্রমাণ চলচ্চিত্র জগতের শেষ্ঠ শিল্পীদের একজন বিশ্ববিখ্যাত চার্লস চ্যাপলি যাঁকে দৃশ্যপট থেকে সরিয়ে দেয়া হয় এবং জীবনের শেষ পাঁচটি বছর নির্বাসিত ও নিঃসঙ্গ জীবন যাপনে বাধ্য করা হয়।
চার্লস চ্যাপলিন একটি দরিদ্র ইহুদী পরিবারে জন্ম নিয়েছিলেন। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে চলচ্চিত্র শিল্প বিকশিত হবাব গোড়ার দিকেই চ্যাপলিন স্বীয় মেধা ও সৃজনশীলতার বদৌলতে ব্যাপক খ্যাতি ও অর্থ অর্জনে সক্ষম হন। ইহুদী শিল্পী হিসাবে তিনি পপ্রথম পপ্রথম একজন সৎ ও বাস্তহারা ইহুদীর চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেন। হলিউডের নীতি-নির্ধারকগণ পপ্রথমটায় ঠিক এমনটিই চেয়েছিলেন। ফলশ্রুতিতে চ্যাপলিন দ্রুত হলিউডের সর্বাধিক খ্যাতিসম্পন্ন শিল্পীদের একজন হয়ে যান এবং এই খ্যাতি তাকে নিজের নির্মিত ছবি পপ্রকাশে উদ্বুদ্ধ হবার সুযোগ করে দেয়।

সমপ্রতি ইন্টারনেটে হলিউডের ইহুদী তারকাদের নামের একটি দীর্ঘ তালিকা পাওয়া গিয়েছে। তালিকার শিরোনাম হচ্ছে, 'হলিউড কি ইহুদীদের'?
২৮পৃষ্ঠার তালিকার সংকলক জানাচ্ছেন যে, এই নামসমূহ সম্পূর্ণ কোন তালিকা নয়। উক্ত তালিকায় ব্যাপকভাবে পরিচিত ইহুদী প্রযোজক, পরিচালিত, অভিনেতা, অভিনেত্রী, চিত্র সংলাপ লেখক এবং সংগীতজ্ঞদের দেড় হাজার নামের উল্লেখ রয়েছে।
হলিউডের ইহুদীবাদী গোষ্ঠী সর্বাধিক কৃতিত্ব অর্জন করেছে শিশুদের জন্য গতিময় আকর্ষণীয় ছবি নির্মাণ কাজে। ডিজনী ওয়াল্টের নাম শোনেনি এমন লোক এখন নেই বললেই চলে। স্মরণ করা যেতে পারে যে, ডিজনী ওয়াল্টের পপ্রথম বিখ্যাত চরিত্র ছিল মিকি মাউজ, যে চিত্রিত হয়েছে একজন নির্যাতিত ইহুদী হিসাবে এবং অপেক্ষাকৃতশক্তিশালী প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বীদের দ্বারা সব সময় চাপ ও হুমকির মধ্যে থেকেও স্বীয় মেধা বলে সকল প্রতিকূলতা মোকাবিলা করে সফল এক নায়করূপে আবির্ভূত হয়েছে। একই চিত্র টম এবং জেরীর বেলাতেও প্রযোজ্য। এসব কার্টুন চরিত্রের বৈশিষ্ট্য হচেছ এরা অন্যদের থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন এবং দেখতে কুৎসিত এবং দর্ুবল হবাব কারণে প্রথম দিকে অন্যদের কাছে উপেক্ষা ও উপহাসের পাত্র থাকে কিন্তু শেষটায় গিয়ে তারা তাদের শক্তিশালী প্রতিপক্ষের ওপর জয়লাভ করে এবং প্রতিহিংসা উদ্দীপ্ত করে।
কুৎসিত ডাকর্লি এবং ডাম্বু, উড়ন্ত হাতি এরূপ চরিত্রের উদাহরণ। ডাম্বুর মা এমন টুপি পরতেন যা থেকে বোঝা যায় যে, তিনি একজন ইহুদী এবং তাকে নিজ সন্তানের পক্ষাবলম্বনের কারণে কারা নির্যাতন ভোগ করতে হয়েছিল। অপর এক দৃশ্যে দেখা যাবে যে, ডাম্বু একটা সার্কাসে এমন একটি পতাকা উত্তোলন করছে যা কিনা- ইহুদীবাদী রাজত্বকালের সদৃশ পতাকা।
হলিউডের ইহুদীবাদী কতর্ৃত্ব কোন কিছুতে শ্রদ্ধাশীল নয় বরং তারা সমাজের অধিকাংশ ইতিবাচক মূল্যবোধের বিরুদ্ধে ঘৃণা ছড়ায়, এমনকি ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাস ও চেতনার বিরুদ্ধেও তারা তৎপর।
ঐসব ছায়াছবির কিছু কিছু কাহিনী এমন ভাবে সাজানো হতো যাতে দর্শকদের কাছে সুনিদিষ্ট রাজনৈতিক বার্তা পেঁৗছে যায়। যেমন সিংহ রাজা (দি লায়ন কিং) বইটিতে সাবেক সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন ভেঙ্গে যাওয়া এবং সেই সূত্রে দুই পরাশক্তির দীর্ঘ কালের দ্বন্দ্বের অবসানের ঘটনা প্রবাহকে একটি বিশেষ রাজনৈতিক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গীসহ রূপকভাবে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে।
একই নির্মাতা কোম্পনী নুহ (আঃ), মুসা (আঃ), ইউসুফ (আঃ) প্রমুখ বিশিষ্ট নবীদের জীবনী কেন্দ্রিক বেশ কিছু উপভোগ্য ছায়াছবি নির্মাণ করেছে যে গুলো মূলতঃ বিকৃত কাহিনীকে ভিত্তি করেই নির্মিত।
এধরণের মূর্ত চিত্রকর্ম ছাড়াও হলিউডের ইহুদীবাদী গোষ্ঠী সামপ্রতিক কয়েক দশকে শিশুদের জন্য নির্মিত ছবিগুলোতে বিশেষ চরিত্রের গতানুগতিক কাহিনী বার বার বহুভাবে উপস্থাপন করেছে। অধিকাংশ ছবির কেন্দ্রীয় চরিত্র হচ্ছে পিতামাতার নিকট থেকে হারিয়ে যাওয়া বা অপহৃত শিশু সন্তানের বেড়ে ওঠার কাহিনী। কাহিনীর গতানুগতিকতায় স্থান পেয়েছে বাস্তুভিটা ত্যাগী ইহুদী সন্তানের পরিবার, বাসস্থান ও উত্তরাধিকার বঞ্চনার গল্পকথা ।

প্রায় আশি বছর আগে, হেনরী ফোর্ড আমেরিকানদেরকে সে দেশে নৈতিক ও আর্থিক দুর্নীতি জনিত বিপর্যয়ের ব্যাপারে সচেতন হবার আহ্বান জানিয়ে ছিলেন। তিনি যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সমপ্রদায় গুলোর নৈতিক বাঁধন শিথিল করার লক্ষ্যে সুচারুরূপে পরিচালিত পরিকল্পিত তৎপরতার ব্যাপারে আমেরিকাবাসীদেরকে সতর্ক হতে বলে ছিলেন। প্রেসিডেন্ট ফোর্ড স্বীয় দেশ আমেরিকার অভ্যন-রে ইয়াহুদীদের সাংস্কৃতিক ও অর্থনৈতিক রাজত্ব কায়েমের বিপক্ষে প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তুলতে চেয়ে ছিলেন। তিনি এটা সম্যকভাবে উপলব্ধি করতে পেরেছিলেন যে, ইয়াহুদীরা আমেরিকার অর্থনীতি ও রাজনীতিকে লক্ষ্য করে এগুচ্ছে এবং সে জন্য তারা সে দেশের সংস্কৃতি ও গণমাধ্যমে নিয়ন্ত্রণ প্রতিষ্ঠার উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যাপক অনুপ্রবেশের ব্যাপারে সচেষ্ট তিনি জানতেন আমেরিকান সিনেমা ইয়াহুদীদের হাতে চলে গিয়েছিল এবং এটাই ছিল ইয়াহুদীদের সর্বাধিক কার্যকর প্রপাগান্ডার মাধ্যম। আমেরিকার সমাজকে তার সনাতন মূল্যবোধের অবস'ান থেকে দূরে সরিয়ে নিতে ইয়াহুদীদের নিরালস চেষ্টার ব্যাপারটি তিনি অনুধাবনে সক্ষম হয়েছিলেন।
তাঁর লেখা অন্যতম বিক্ষ্যাত বই ‘আমার বীবন এবং আমার বড় হবার কাহিনী’ ( মাই লাইফ আ্যান্ড মাই ক্যারিয়ার)। এই গ্রনে' শিল্পপতি ফোর্ড বলেন, “পরিচিত একটি প্রভাবশালী মহল আমেরিকার সমাজ জীবনে দূর্ণীতির প্রসার ঘটানোর কাজে যত্নবান হয়েছে। জনগণ ক্রমশঃ তাদের নৈতিক মূল্যবোধ গুলোর লালন থেকে দূরে সরে যাচ্ছে। আমরা আমেরিকান ইয়াহুদীদের অবমূল্যায়ন করি না; কিন' আমেরিকার জনগণের ধর্মবিশ্বাসে নাগা দেয়ার কাজে বিরুদ্ধাচারণ করি।... ”
দূর্ভাগ্যজনক হলেও সত্য যে, প্রেসিডেন্ট ফোর্ডের অধিকাংশ আশঙ্কাই আজ সত্যে পরিণত হয়েছে। ইসরাইলীরা ফিলিসি-নী ভুখন্ড জবরদখল করে নিয়েছে। আর যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে নীতি নির্ধারক মহলে ইসরাইলের রয়েছে দুর্দমনীয় প্রভাব। প্রকৃতপক্ষে আজকের যুক্তরাষ্টষ্ট্র হচ্ছে ইয়াহুদীবাদের শক্তির উৎস। আমেরিকান সমাজে নৈতিকতার অবক্ষয় এমন পর্যায়ে পৌঁছেছে যে, তাদের ধর্ম ও সমাজতত্ত্ববিদগণ এই সমাজের ভবিষ্যত নিয়ে পুরোমাত্রায় হতাশ এবং শঙ্কিত। মাত্র চার দশক আগে পাশ্চত্যে গড়ে ওঠে জাজ এবং রক ব্যান্ড নতুন সংগীত ধারা, যার পুরোধা হলেন লভিস প্রিসলি এবং রিংগো স্টারের মত ইয়াহুদী তারকা শিল্পীবৃন্দ। আমেরিকান যুব সমাজের কাছে মাইকেল জ্যাকসনের খ্যাতি, জনপ্রিয়তা ও ভাবমূর্তি সে দেশের শ্রেষ্ঠ চার্চ শুরু ধর্মীয় ব্যক্তিত্ববৃন্দের চেয়েও বেশী। বিগত শতাব্দীর ৬০-এর দশকে বিট্‌ল্‌স্‌ নিজদেরকে খোদার চেয়েও বেশী খ্যাতিমান বলে ভাবতে শুরু করে ( নাউজুবিলাহ)। আর আজ শয়তানের পূজারী এসব ব্যাক্তি খোদার সাথে যেন প্রত্যক্ষ যুদ্ধের ঘোষণা দিচ্ছে।
রক সঙ্গীতের শহর হিসাবে খ্যাত ডেট্রিয়টে গেলে ব্যান্ড সঙ্গীতের উন্মাদনায় আসক্ত নতুন প্রজন্মের আমেরিকানদের ক্ষ্যাপাটে আচরণ প্রত্যক্ষ করা যাবে। বাঁধভাঙ্গা জোয়ারের মত উন্মত্ততা প্রতিরোধে পিতামাতা বা অন্য সবাই যেন নির্বিকার বা নির্লিপ্ত ও অসহায়।
হলিউডের প্রযোজিত কয়েক দশক পূর্বেকার ছবির সাথে তাদের এখনকার অবমুক্ত ছবিগুলোর তুলনা করলেই বোঝা যাবে যে, নৈতিক জগতে কতটা বিপুলায়তন বিপর্যয় সব কিছুকে গ্র্রাস করেছে। হলিউডের ইয়াহুদীবাদী কর্তৃত্ব কোন কিছুতে শ্রদ্ধাশীল নয় বরং তারা সমাজের অধিকাংশ ইতিবাচক মূল্যবোধের বিরূদ্ধে ঘৃণা ছড়ায়-এমন কি ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাস ও চেতনার বিরুদ্ধেও তারা তৎপর। একসময় অর্থ সম্পদকে পাশ্চাত্য মূল্যবোধের প্রথম উপাদান গণ্য করা হতো, হলিউড এখন এটার মোকাবিলায় অন্য সকল কিছুকে উপেক্ষা করতে শিখিয়েছে। হলিউডের কাছে এখন সেই চলচ্চিত্রই গুরুত্বের দাবীদার যার অর্থ রোজগারের সামর্থ্য বেশী। আর এ জন্য যে ধরণের ছবি প্রয়োজন সেটা হলো দর্শকের দুর্বল চিত্তে চাপ সৃষ্টি করা এবং পশ্চিমা মানুষের চরিত্রের সর্বনিম্ন কদর্য পরিচয়কে ব্যাপকভাবে উপস'াপন করা। হলিউড নিজে অর্থের নেশায় মত্ত তেমনি সে তার দর্শকদেরকেও অর্থলিপ্সু বানিয়ে ছাড়ছে।

Criticism and controversy against Moududi(wikipedia)

A general complaint of one critic is that Maududi's theo-democracy is an

ideological state in which legislators do not legislate, citizens only vote to reaffirm the permanent applicability of God's laws, women rarely venture outside their homes lest social discipline be disrupted, and non-Muslims are tolerated as foreign elements required to express their loyalty by means of paying a financial levy.[23]

On a more conceptual level, journalist and author Abelwahab Meddeb questions the basis of Maududi's reasoning that the sovereignty of the truly Islamic state must be divine and not popular, saying "Mawdudi constructed a coherent political system, which follows wholly from a manipulation." The manipulation is of the Arabic word hukm, usually defined as to "exercise power as governing, to pronounce a sentence, to judge between two parties, to be knowledgeable (in medicine, in philosophy), to be wise, prudent, of a considered judgment." The Quran contains the phrase `Hukm is God's alone,` thus, according to Maududi, God - in the form of Sharia law - must govern. But Meddeb argues that a full reading of the ayah reveals that it refers to God's superiority over pagan idols, not His role in government.

Those who you adore outside of Him are nothing but names that you and your fathers have given them. God has granted them no authority. Hukm is God's alone. He has commanded that you adore none but Him. Such is the right religion, but most people do not know. [12:40]

Quranic "commentators never forget to remind us that this verse is devoted to the powerlessness of the companion deities (pardras) that idolaters raise up next to God…"[24]

Maududi is said to have received "sustained hostility" from the [ulama].[25] Muhammad Yusuf Banuri(d. 1397/1977) is quoted as saying

"Great Muslim scholars of India of every madhhab congregated at Jamiyyat al-'Ulama' in Delhi on the 27th of Shawwal, 1370 (August 1, 1951) and reached the conclusion that Mawdudi and his Al-Jamaat al-Islamiyya caused the destruction and deviation of Muslims and published this fatwa (decision) in a book and in papers." [26] And the scholars of Pakistan passed a resolution that Mawdudi was a heretic who tried to make others heretics; this resolution was edited once again in the Akhbar al-Jamiyya in Rawalpindi on the 22nd of February, 1396 (1976)." [27]

He has been criticised by some Deobandi scholars, such as Allamh Yusuf Ludhyanwi[28], for what was seen as disrespect towards the Prophets of Islam, Sahabah (Companions of the prophet Muhammad) and the Mahdi.

Maududi has been criticised by salafist author Jamaal Ibn Fareehaan al-Haarithee for "rejection of The Dajjal" allegedly claiming in his book Rasaa‘il wa Masaa‘il (p. 57), that the prophet Muhammad "used to think that the Dajjaal (Anti-Christ) would come out in his time, or close to his time. However, 1350 years passed away and many long generations came and went, yet the Dajjaal did not come out. So it is confirmed that what the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) thought did not prove true!!” [29] Maududi allegedly believed this erroneous belief was explained by its being an "opinion and analogical deduction" of Muhammad while al-Haarithee considers this shirk as the Quran says “And he does not speak from his own desire. Others criticizing Maududi were Shaykh Safi ur Rahman Mubarakpuri - [30], Hammaad al-Ansaaree[31] and Al-Albaanee, Sanaullaah Amritsari [32]

In an article entitled Fatwa about the Deviation of Mawdudi, one critic complains that "Mawdudi was a CIA agent"; that he strove to solve "the main principles of Islam" using "his own reason," departing from "Islamic knowledge"; that while he preached revolution, "Islam would spread not through revolution but through knowledge, justice and morals."[27]

Now who has the last laugh? That is the question; I only have pity for those who cannot see reality and who were so glib to buy into what the media and political troubleshooters were saying about the Mumbai terrorist attacks.

As a BBC report notes, at least some of the Mumbai attackers were not Indian and certainly not Muslim.Pappu Mishra, a cafe proprietor at the gothic Victorian Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station, described "two sprightly young men dressed in black" with AK47s who were "foreign looking, fair skinned."Gaffar Abdul Amir, an Iraqi tourist from Baghdad, saw at least two men who started the firing outside the Leopold Cafe. "They did not look Indian, they looked foreign. One of them, I thought, had blonde hair. The other had a punkish hairstyle. They were neatly dressed," Amir told the BBC.
According to Andrew G. Marshall, the ISI "has long been referred to as Pakistan's 'secret government' or 'shadow state.' It's long-standing ties and reliance upon American and British intelligence have not let up, therefore actions taken by the ISI should be viewed in the context of being a Central Asian outpost of Anglo-American covert intelligence operations."The presence of "foreign looking, fair skinned" commandos who calmly gunned down dozens of people after drinking a few beers indicates that the Mumbai attacks were likely the work of the Anglo-American covert intelligence operatives, not indigenous Indian Muslims or for that matter Arab al-Qaeda terrorists. The attacks prepare the ground for the break-up of Pakistan and the furtherance of destabilizing terrorism in the Middle East and Asia. The Mumbai attacks had little to do with India or the relationship between Muslim Pakistanis and Hindu Indians."Pakistan's position as a strategic focal point cannot be underestimated. It borders India, Afghanistan, China and Iran," concludes Marshall. "Destabilizing and ultimately breaking Pakistan up into several countries or regions will naturally spread chaos and destabilization into neighboring countries. This is also true of Iraq on the other side of Iran, as the Anglo-American have undertaken, primarily through Iraq, a strategy of balkanizing the entire Middle East in a new imperial project." Now I ask specifically: WHO HAS EGG ON THE FACE? MY DETRACTORS OR ME?

Andrew Marshall is a respected author; he is clearly saying here that terrorists looked like Anglo-American covert operatives and that the entire Mumbai operation was an attempt by Anglo-American forces to destabilize India and push it further into the Israel-US orbit. Marshall also says that Americans are keen to dismember Pakistan--it is clear that in this project, America needs India as a firm ally--it cannot afford Indo-Pak friendship at least on a long-term basis. The Mumbai attack thus was multi-layered--and one of the reasons could be to warn India that the Anglo-American elite has the power to penetrate India, with the help of its own people. Clearly, the attackers would not have come from the sea route without some kind of a connivance of Gujarat and Maharashtra Governments with the terrorists, and the connivance of RSS type Hindutva elements as I will prove later in the piece.
This afore-mentioned report appeared on the BBC, a news agency which pro-west, Muslim-haters and all NRIs love to see. NOW I ASK THESE PEOPLE: why are you adopting double standards? Now a BBC report is incovenient because it militates against your idea of what happened in Mumbai?
Even the Indian Government is aware of this reality. That is why it is not issuing statements in a hurry and that is why the kind of Islamo-phobia seen earlier after Bomb Blasts is not being seen now.
A second report is more shocking--some news channels captured it but then it went off air:

One Police officer who encountered the gunmen as they entered the Jewish Center (Nariman House) said the attackers were white. "I went into the building late last night" he said. "I got a shock because they were white. I was expecting them to look like us. They fired three shots. I fired 10 back".

The Nariman House affair brings the Mossad angle to the fore. Two of the `hostages' killed in the Narimam House were identified as Rabbi Gabreil Holtzberg and his wife Rivka. They ran the center as spokespersons of the Chabad Lubavitch movement.
Now the Chabad movement is one of the many sects within Israel and Judaism. But of late it has come under the Zionist influence. Now what is Zionism? A brief digression would suffice: Zionism is the political ideology of racist Jews, just like Hindutva is the political ideology of a section of `race conscious' Hindus. Just as a majority of Sanatani Hindus have opposed Hindutva, a majority of Jews oppose Zionism and its fascist-anti-religious tone.
In opposition to the teachings of Judaism, the orthodox Jew religion, Zionists want to dominate the world; they see the `Jewish race' as the most important, almost divine, race in the world. Zionists are opposed to democracy and even the concept of naitonhood. Zionists believe in creating murder and mayhem as a matter of policy.
In America, Zionists have entered into an alliance with the American elites--the White-Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) forces--which rule America. The reasons for this alliance lie in the way the Zionist agenda matches with that of the American corporate and WASP elite and is beyind the scope of this article.

Back to members of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement killed at Nariman House--people have asked how come the Rabbi and his wife were killed if Mossad is involved in the Mumbai terror attack?

Some reports of the Mumbai attack indicate that the Holtzbergs rented space to the attack planners over the past few months and thereby helped make the operation far more effective.

Another piece of massive evidence: In a telephone interview with CBC News from outside the Center (Nariman House), freelance journalists Arun Asthana said that there are reports that some of the militants had stayed at a guest house there (Nariman House) for upto 15 days before the attack. "They had a huge mass of ammunition, arms and food there", Asthana said.

Now other reports have also confirmed that a huge mass of food was ordered by the residents of the Nariman House. This food was enough for 30-40 people for several days. Why was this amount of food ordered? Also why was Nariman House not assaulted till the very last? A Gujarati Hindu resident of Mumbai came onto TV on CNN-IBN to say at around 3.30 AM or so, that for two months suspicious activities wree going in Nariman House. A lot of foreigners were seen coming in and going out. This matter was reported to the Police. But no one took action.
The CNN-IBN did not repeat the news; then it was only when the common people of Mumbai threatened to storm the Nariman House the NSG commandos were moved in--why this delay in assaulting Nariman House when only two terrorists were holed in there?
This is sheer official complicity and nothing else--AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE WHOLE NARIMAN HOUSE AFFAIR IS A MUST.



Then it was reported that " somehow surprising to learn that the terrorists in Cama hospital in Mumbai were fluently speaking Marathi. The terrorists who are said to have fired in Cama hospital talked to an employee clad in civil dress in Marathi, reports a Marathi daily 'Maharashtra Times'.

The newspaper said the terrorists who targeted ATS chief Hemant Karkare, police commissioner Ashok Kamte and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar were speaking Marathi fluently.
The newspaper claims the terrorists having fired at two watchmen in uniform asked the other beside them on gunpoint in Marathi, 'You are here an employee?' The employee caught the legs of the terrorist and said, 'I am not working here. My wife has suffered from heart attack and I have come here to admit her.' The terrorist asked him again in Marathi, 'You are speaking true or false?' The employee answered, 'No, by God I am speaking true.'
On this the terrorist let him go.

NOW WHAT DO WE MAKE OF THAT? Another report says that traditional Jews of Mumbai who have migrated to Israel speak fluent Marathi and are known to have been recruited by Mossad!

The death of Hemant Karkare remains a mystery. All official versions are contradictory: some say he was killed near CST, some that he died near Cama hospital, some near Metro cinema, and some that he was killed while in a Police jeep. Also, where did the bullet hit him? Some say on the neck and some near the heart. Karkare was shown on TV wearing a bullet proof vest--he could not have been shot in neck in that case, unless there was a sniper waiting for him.
Also if he was shot near heart, then when did he take out his vest? No one has even bothered to answer this question. Also, another facet is coming to light: that Karkare was killed near Cama--but Kaamte and Salaskar in the Metro shootout!

3. Who were the Marathi speaking Karkare killers? The lane next to the Cama Hospital is a deserted one--it goes straight to the backyard of the Mumbai CID Headquarters. Anonymous sources in the Police have revealed that Karkare was taken there, by a joint team of anti-Karkare, pro-Hindutva Mumbai Police officers, and Chota Rajan men. Now Karkare was opposed to Chota Rajan. Salaskar was anti-Pradeep Sharma, another Mumbai senior Police officer now in jail, for working as Rajan's shooter. So the Marathi speaking terrorists could either have been Jews with some connection to Mumbai--or hired killers of the Hindutva brigade or men of Chota Rajan.
4. It seems that several things went on simultaneously--the Mahrashtra Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh was in Kerala when the Mumbai attack began at 9.30 PM on 26th November. Then by 11PM Deshmukh had informed the Home Minister Shivraj Patil--the latter has started proceedings to send the NSG Commandos. So Deshmukh knew about what was happening by 11PM--then why was there no Mumbai Police on various locations between 9.30 and 1am, the time when Karkare arrived? The Mumbai ATS is a separate organization. it does not lead the Mumbai Police. So the 40,000 strong Mumbai Police was absent from the scene of action between 11pm to 1am and then Karkare arrived and he was killed along with his men!
Isn't there something fishy here? Obviously the Mumbai Police was kept deliberately away between 11pm and 1am, the time period when terrorists were killing people merrily. Then Karkare must have been told--and he went there expecting Mumbai police personals to be there--but there were none or only a few! And he was killed!
